Insomnia is a tough condition to beat, especially if you have tried everything! No one wants to create a fight club because of it, so here's a suggestion: knit! Garter stitching is simply knitting every row. Once you know how to do this you can multitask and/or knit in the dark. It's a great way to clear your head and wind down in order to sleep.

Want a starter project? Consider a scarf. After mastering the videos cast on about 20 stitches. After that all you have to do is nit each row back-and-forth until you reach about 65 inches. When I learned how to knit this is all I did. I made around 100 scarves in this manner. The reason I am offering this free knitting pattern or guidelines if you want to call it that is because it is mindless knitting that you can do while you are trying to wind down and sleep.
